The NFL Combine has finally come to a close today leaving behind many great performances and showing who has the most talent. Many players value went up as others went down. These drills test the athlete’s ability and allow scouts and coaches to evaluate them. Players must do a bunch of drills including bench press, vertical jump, shuttle run, and of course the 40-yard dash.

In this article I will be focusing on the 40-yard dash. Athletes push themselves to the limit to get the quickest time possible. There were many notable 40-yard dash times but the fastest time was ran by an unexpected player. His name is Dri Archer. He ran a 4.26 second 40-yard dash, coming in as the second fastest in NFL Combine history! His stock definitely went up after this performance. Other notable performances include Jadeveon Clowney’s 4.46 and wide receiver Sammy Watkin’s time of 4.34

As the players push themselves to run fast, they usually make hilarious faces. The cameraman captured these faces for all of us to get a good laugh at. Check out the pictures above for a quick Sports Giggle!

Are You Smarter Than An NFL Football Player?

Many football players are perceived as not being the smartest people. Every year there are players going to jail and making silly mistakes. Perfect examples include last years controversy with Aaron Hernandez, Richie Incognito, and as of recently Ray Rice of the Baltimore Ravens. The media likes to focus on these stories because they come off more interesting to the public. What a lot of outsiders don't know is that NFL players are quite smart. Just like any other job they have to know their stuff. These players don't just go out and play football. A lot of time and studying goes into it. In football you have to study defenses, offenses, and so on. They are many different schemes and situations happening in a game. In most cases, the smartest players are the best players. Two perfect examples are Peyton Manning and Richard Sherman. Peyton Manning is known for being able to read defenses like the back of his hand. Richard Sherman most of the time knows what route the receiver is going to run before the play even begins. Every player that enters the NFL has to take a test in which they find out their IQ. This test is called the Wonderlic Test. They have to answer 50 questions in 12 minutes so it requires very fast thinking. It is a lot harder than you think. With the NFL Combine coming up, scouts will be able to see just how smart some of these players are. The two quarterbacks pictured above should be top ten picks! Blake Bortles has a great attitude but Johnny Manzel has ran into some problems last year admitting to underage drinking and then being benched for funny penalties like mocking other teams. It'll be exciting to see how they score on their test!

Ashley Wagner Not Happy With Her Score

Ashley Wagner is an Olympic figure skater skating in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia. This past Saturday she placed fourth and she was not happy with the score she received. The Olympic skater was caught on camera mouthing the word bulls***. Her facial expression and reactions were quite hilarious and she is becoming the talking point of the country right now as well as an internet sensation. Check out the video above!

Marcus Smart Is Not So Smart

Last night there was a duel in college basketball. Oklahoma State had a physical matchup against Texas Tech. On one specific play Marcus Smart was running up the court to try and make a defensive play. He flew into the crowd and a fan had some words for him. Smart makes a silly decision and shoves the fan.
